This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR with RUBY STAIN  "BROKEN COLUMN"  LARGE HANDLED WATER PITCHER.   This Early American Pattern Glass clear with ruby stain "BROKEN COLUMN" water pitcher is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in very good condition, there are NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining, I may also add that this
EAPG CLEAR with RUBY STAIN  "BROKEN COLUMN"  LARGE HANDLED WATER PITCHER is an early vintage antique ruby stained pitcher that has been used and displayed over many years and is still a very beautiful ruby stained pitcher;
I am going to mention that there is surface wear at the very bottom of this "BROKEN COLUMN" water pitcher from the pitcher being moved around and also used in its day, as you can see there are three rows of notches with the ruby stain, the bottom row of notches does have surface wear and finger feel roughness as I call it, according to the beautiful ruby stain on the over all pitcher being extremely good condition, I think that this could be roughness from being removed from the mold, this is only my opinion, I try to mention everything and I've taken super good, and many photos to show all I've just talked about, there are no heat checks any where around the handle either at the top or the bottom of this handle, this pitcher is a real tuff ruby stain pitcher to find;   This "BROKEN COLUMN" pitcher also has those EAPG characteristics of the glass produced during this era of glass production having stress lines in the glass, straw marks, and air bubbles inside the glass, these characteristics are not considered damage done during the production of this highly sought after pitcher;
This much sought after pattern, can be seen in one of my many reference materials, one by "William Heacock" who show and talk about this highly sought after pattern in the so called "ruby stain bible", the "Victorian Colored Pattern Glass book #7 "Ruby Stained Glass from A-Z" on pages #28, #83, & #84;
