Ken Fashionista Barbie Boyfriend Doll Clothes Shorts Jacket Mattel Made

In this listing we have a really cute partial Ken outfit. This outfit was sold by Mattel as part of the clothing sets that they released for Barbie’s boyfriend. This outfit consists of a pink hooded jacket with a black and white checkerboard design in the front and white surging in the front and a pair of blue denim inspired shorts with white contact stitching and white surging at the bottom. The shorts are designed to fit the “Original” Ken body and will fit similar sized dolls. The shorts close in the back with Velcro and the jacket has no closures. This outfit does not have shoes. These clothing pieces are in good condition. They have never been played with and were just taken out of the box. The jacket is in good shape. I will point out that both pieces were held into the box with those small plastic tabs. I was very careful in removing them, but they leave holes in the clothes from how they were put in at the factory. There is a hole in the main body of the jacket in the back and on the left side of the hood. There are some excess threads at the front where the hood meets the body of the jacket, the bottom front on the right and left side, and at the side seams at the cuffs on the sleeves. The jacket is a bit wrinkled from how it was held in the box. I don’t think it’s possible to iron this fabric. In a couple places there are some tucks that got sewn down. There’s one on the front left sleeve, the left shoulder seam at the neck (this one is pretty big), one on the front and back of the right sleeve seam, and a couple along the seam where the hood connects to the main body. There might be others. The front bottom the sewing is a little sloppy. The shorts are in good condition. They do have holes in the bottom back near the bottom hem from those plastic tabs. Luckily, they didn’t put them in the front. They do have some excess threads in the back where the back where the Velcro is sewn on and the inseam at the bottom of the pant legs. The inside hem at the bottom of the pant legs are a little uneven, one side is slightly longer than the other. The shorts do have a sewing flaw in the back. When they were doing the back seam, they sewed down a tuck on the fabric. This caused some creasing, it’s mostly in the back, but you can see it from the front at the crotch. It’s less noticeable, but you can see it. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
