Mimi World Doll Dress Outfit Korean Exclusive Fits Petite Barbie Shoes Purse

In this listing we have a really cute doll outfit. This outfit was (mostly) released by Mimi World for their Mimi doll, who is a Korean fashion doll. These dolls are only sold in Korea and can be rather hard to find. This outfit fits the Petite body decently and will fit similar sized dolls. I did include a pair of Barbie shoes to complete the outfit. My doll isn’t wearing them in the pictures since she has flat feet, but they can be worn by an Original or Petite Barbie with high heeded feet. This outfit consists of a dress with a pink bodice with a sheer overlay and ruffle details at the neck and sleeves and an attached mint green skirt with an asymmetrical hem with large pink beads going down the side of the skirt, a pink purse with a glitter panel in the front and a pink ribbon bow, white panties, a pink ribbon headband with elastic at the back, and silver plastic high heeled Barbie shoes. The dress closes in the back with Velcro, the shoes have a slit in the back to help put them on the doll, the panties stretch to go on the doll, the headband has elastic so it can stretch to go on the doll’s head, and the purse really opens so things can be put in it. This outfit was made in China, but the doll’s shoes were made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little bright, the colors are more muted in person.
This outfit is in good shape. I will start of saying that Mimi dolls and their clothes aren’t the best quality. I would say that they are a step below Mattel. They’re not terrible, but not the top of the line. This outfit has never been played with and was just taken off a doll that was removed from the box and put into storage. The dress is very nice. I will point out that that the dress doesn’t close fully in the back on the petite doll. The pink overlay is unhemmed at the neck and each layer on the sleeves. It looks good, but it could fray over time with use. Some of the edges are slightly frayed from when they were cut out. It’s not bad, just not perfect. There are some excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on, at both sleeves from the inseam, at the middle of the sleeve seam on the left sleeve, at the bottom point on the skirt in the front, and the back bottom hem. There’s a lot of threads in the arm holes, more than can be seen in my pictures. Some of the top stitching on the skirt is a little sloppy in places. The thread used for that is a little fuzzier. It’s not as smooth as thread can be. There is a visible thread loop where they attached the middle bead on the skirt. The seams don’t match up perfectly for the sleeves and the skirt at the top and bottom in the back, one side is slightly longer compared to the other. The purse looks good. It does really open, but there’s no closures on it. The glitter section on the front is unhemmed so it could fray over time. There are some excess threads at both sides at the top. On the underside of the front flap there are excess threads and sloppy stitching from where they tacked on the bow. The headband looks good. There are some excess threads at the sides where they sewed the ribbon to the elastic. The ends of the elastic are slightly frayed. The underwear looks good. The edges are all unhemmed and the fabric will stretch out and fray over time and with use. All Mimi underwear is unhemmed that I’ve seen. There are some excess threads at the side seams at the legs and the waist. Some of the edges of the seams don’t match up perfectly and one side is longer than the other. The shoes look good. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots, but they will all have those. They do have some small mold imperfections when you look at them closely, but they are very minor. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
